Strategic challenge: the quest for a co-creative culture
With more than 1.300 employees and 10.000 students, Odisee faced the challenge of transforming its organisational culture into an efficient, agile, and co-creative entity. This transformation involved strengthening leadership within the executive committee, practically implementing strategic dossiers such as the revision of the policy cycle, and developing the desired behaviours and competencies among key figures.
Our approach: a collaborative journey toward change
To tackle this challenge, we established a facilitating team that worked agilely according to lean and Sociocracy 3.0 principles. Our approach included not only imparting knowledge and skills but also cultivating a mindset of co-creation and innovation. We organised inspiration sessions, development labs, and individual coaching to guide the executive team and other key figures in their roles as change agents.
Additionally, we invested in capacity building by training a broad group of project managers and process facilitators in relevant themes, such as facilitating lean meetings and organising participatory workshops. This investment in human capital has equipped the organisation with internal skills and capabilities to continue the transformation in the long term.
Results: a culture of co-creation and innovation
After intensive collaboration with Odisee, we achieved tangible results that reflect the core of their vision. New ways of co-creation have been developed and implemented, strategic projects have been successfully completed, and stakeholders have enhanced their participation, facilitation, and co-creation competencies. While the journey toward a co-creative future never ends, with our guidance, Odisee has laid a solid foundation for a sustainable and innovative organisational culture.
