Development of the Transversal Strategic Programme

In 2013, the city of Gembloux applied as a test municipality for the development of a Transversal Strategic Programme. The town council worked together with Möbius to develop and implement this strategic plan.

For this project, Möbius worked closely with the stakeholders in the local council to develop a Strategic Programme that had to meet a wide range of requirements. The programme thus aimed to professionalise governance and improve the management of resources and priorities. A number of existing action plans within the departments were brought together and harmonised. Finally, a better dialogue with the citizen was also proposed.

Thanks to the creation of the Transversal Strategic Programme, the city of Gembloux has developed a medium-term vision. This has allowed the construction of transversal partnerships in different urban projects. Last but not least, all the city's employees have been brought together around a common project.
