APPROACH
Evaluation of the recruitment process via Mystery Candidates
We started the project by drawing up various CVs and mystery candidate scenarios in order to test the (online) application process. After thoroughly briefing our mystery candidates and realizing a number of pilot situations, we conducted a significant number of mystery applications in the different areas in scope.
Assess the current Candidate Experience via in-depth interviews
In addition to the mystery applications, qualitative insights were gathered via in-depth interviews with both selected and rejected candidates. Among other things, the user-friendliness of the online application tool, the evaluation of the application process and the perception of both our client (the mail & parcels player) and the employer agencies were surveyed.
Valuable insights & actionable recommendations
At the end of the project, our client received a final summary report with the main results of our research. Results were reported overall and per area, job function (vacancy), employer agency, etc. We provided concrete recommendations to maximize the future inflow of candidates (e.g. optimizing communication, eliminating certain thresholds ...) and to improve the candidate experience.
RESULTS
